Eyelid Lift--also known as blepharoplasty is a very common rejuvenation procedure to address the aging changes around the eyes.  This region is critically important for overall facial appearance.  Aging changes make a person look tired even when they are well-rested.  The upper eyelid surgery involves trimming the excess delicate skin with the resulting incision-line that is hidden in the upper eyelid natural crease so that it is very difficult to ascertain that surgery was performed.  The lower eyelid approach avoids a skin incision all together so that the excess fatty tissue below the eye is trimmed or repositioned to achieve a youthful contour.
