Dr. Thomason has been practicing in Irving since 2007.  Native to the Dallas area, he went to Texas A&M University, graduating Summa Cum Laude.  He then attended medical school at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas and, upon graduation, remained there for his surgery internship and residency training.  He is a board member and department head of the Medical and Surgical Clinic of Irving--a 30+ physician group that has been a major presence in the medical community of the Irving area for more than 50 years.  He is double board-certified in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery as well as otolaryngology--head & neck surgery.  He is a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.  He has published scientific papers and given podium presentations at academic meetings and continuing education conferences.
